BJY Inc. led by CEO Byungjo Yoo, announced that it will participate in CI KOREA 2026 (the 11th Cosmetic Inside Korea), scheduled to take place over four days from March 31 to April 3 at KINTEX in Ilsan.

Founded in 2022, BJY Inc. is a company specializing in the research and development of fermentation-based peptides, led by a CEO who holds a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from KAIST. To replace conventional high-cost chemically synthesized peptides, the company has established its proprietary PMF (Peptide Multimer Fermentation) platform technology.

The technology enables large-scale fermentation production of high-concentration peptides as well as cost-effective separation and purification processes, serving as a key driver for supplying the market with eco-friendly and highly price-competitive peptide ingredients.

Through its PMF platform, BJY Inc. is developing a range of functional cosmetic peptides targeting anti-wrinkle, brightening, hair-loss care, and skin regeneration.

The company’s key products to be showcased at the exhibition are categorized according to their respective functions.

For its anti-wrinkle lineup, BJY PeptaLift-1 and BJY PeptaLift-4 demonstrate stronger signal-transmission inhibition than Acetyl Octapeptide-3, which has a Botox-like mechanism of action, providing enhanced anti-wrinkle efficacy. The company will also introduce the synthetic peptide BJY PeptaLift-2.

For its hair-loss care solutions, BJY Inc. will showcase BJY PeptaGrow-4 and BJY PeptaGrow-6, which utilize human thymic secretion-derived components to enhance the immune function of hair follicle cells and promote hair growth, as well as the synthetic peptide BJY PeptaGrow-5.

The company will also exhibit BIO-EGF, which supports skin regeneration, demonstrating the breadth of BJY Inc.’s peptide and biomaterial technologies.

BJY Inc. currently supplies ingredients primarily to COSMAX BTI and is actively conducting joint R&D on new peptides with major cosmetic manufacturers in Korea and overseas.

Building on its participation in the exhibition, BJY Inc. plans to accelerate its expansion into the Southeast Asian and European markets. The company identifies differing cosmetic regulations across countries as a key challenge and is developing strategies aligned with global standards to address these regulatory requirements.
